“The stunning views are part of our daily life, but Dapeng can offer more than scenery,” said Zeng Liyun, a talent officer in Dapeng. She guided vlogger Rafael through the district’s projects, including Shenzhen Ocean University, a home for future ocean researchers and tech innovators, and Baguang Biovalley, where global biotech experts are turning research into real-world solutions. She also noted that LEGOLAND Shenzhen Resort is under construction.

Zeng introduced a special talent card, part of Dapeng’s attractive talent policies. High-level professionals working full-time in Dapeng can apply for the card, which provides one-stop access to 12 benefits: children’s education, healthcare, talent housing, leisure services, spousal employment support, transportation, expedited government services, professional training, research platforms, innovation and entrepreneurship support, legal advisory, and Party-building services.

“When I’m stuck in my work, Dapeng’s mountain trails and beautiful sea reset my brain,” said Noor-ul-Ain, a postdoctoral researcher at the Agricultural Genomics Institute in Shenzhen.

“当我工作遇到瓶颈时，大鹏的山海步道与碧海蓝天总能让我重新充电。”中国农业科学院深圳农业基因组研究所的博士后研究员Noor-ul-Ain分享道。

Zeng took Rafael along coastal bike trails, mountain-sea pathways, and water-sport zones, giving him an immersive experience of the region’s beaches and coastal landscapes.

曾立云继续带Rafael骑行海滨碧道、徒步山海栈道、体验水上运动，打卡美丽沙滩与海景，沉浸式感受这片户外天堂。

Dapeng is one of China’s first nationally designated top-tier outdoor sports destinations. Its stunning coastline has attracted film and TV productions, including Stephen Chow’s blockbuster “The Mermaid.”

作为中国首批高质量户外运动目的地之一，大鹏以其壮丽海岸线吸引了众多影视作品来此取景拍摄，比如周星驰的电影《美人鱼》。

As the sun sets, another side of Dapeng emerges. Designated as China’s first “International Dark Sky Community,” it is free from light pollution — a place of stars and stories.

“Here, it feels like the center of the universe,” said Rafael.
