On the night of Sept. 1, Typhoon Saola approached Shenzhen. Although it did not hit the city directly, Saola still brought a lot of inconvenience to people's work and life.

In response to the typhoon, the city's public transportation was halted at 7 p.m. The suspension left four Pakistani tourists stranded near the Meidu Community in Meilin Subdistrict, Futian District. After receiving messages asking for help, the community staff members placed the tourists in a hotel to shelter from the typhoon.

9月1日夜间，台风“苏拉”过境深圳，虽没有正面袭击，但也给市民工作生活带来诸多不便。晚上7点全市公交停运后，几位巴基斯坦游客滞留在福田区梅林街道梅都社区附近。社区工作人员接到求助信息后，将几位游客妥善安置。
